My students need a new printer and ink cartridges so that I can print IEP's, the dictation of my students on their work, and make color copies of their work for portfolios.
Preschool is all about exploration, discovery and creativity. A lot the preparation that goes into our projects involves coping and printing. The printers and copiers at our school are constantly in flux--sometimes the work and sometimes they don't. A classroom printer is a necessary resource.
I have the best students in the world!
The are 3 to 5 years old and have mild to moderate special needs ranging from autism, to language delays and developmental delays. My class is very diverse and we are located at a Title 1 school. We have a language based program that includes a lot dynamic moments on the rug. We cook, we experiment, we create art projects to reinforce concepts that we learn. In most cases, the activities we do require a printer or copier at some point.
My Project
Every child deserves to have a classroom that is fully stocked with the materials required for the curriculum. With a classroom printer, I will be able to type up more of their comments of the work in their own words and post them in the classroom. My students will learn that their words are important.
Please help donate a printer and the necessary ink to our classroom.
My children deserve the best resources available and having a printer to print out their experiences in their own words will go far in providing them a sturdy foundation.
