This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in an inner city public school which houses a program for Autistic Impaired Learners. We have a diverse population of students with various Autism Spectrum disorders.

My classroom consists of eighteen children, two of which are on the Autism Spectrum.

All my students are the most kind and hardworking students you will ever meet. They are so genuinely thoughtful and selfless. Watching how all students accept one another for their unique and beautiful differences is truly amazing. I am the luckiest teacher on the planet!

My Project

The majority of my students are visual learners. A new printer ink cartridge would help to print pictures and papers which will make their learning more realistic and help develop their language skills and vocabulary. The ink would help me to print the students stories and work to display in our classroom for others to see and enjoy. We go through copy paper all year long.

This would help my students to become more creative with their writing and motivate them to want to write more.
