This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are avid learners with limited access to colorful and current learning materials. Covid impacted their learning, since without sufficient guidance they had a hard time accessing relevant materials for their learning. My students need to connect they everyday learning to the real world. The magazines you will be sponsoring give my students a wealth of information that can help make their learning relevant. After reading they will be completing reflection journals both in literacy and math. Some colorful handout will make the journals more appealing along with students own colorful illustrations. Markers and pencils help us on the pre-writing activities. Please provide my students the necessary supplies to have a productive school year.
