My students need an iPad and two kid cases so they can develop the necessary skills to compete in a technology driven world.

My students are thinkers, my students are learners, and my students have a great love for school but they do have challenges because they live in an inner city. Most of my students' socioeconomic status is low poverty. A few of my students do not even have a permanent address, they move from house to house. My class consists of exceptional students, English language learners from around the globe, and traditional students.
One unique positive trait about my kids is that they do not let these issues stop them.
They have a love of learning and they work hard. Their present situation should not determine their future. Where they are from should not determine where they will go. I am determined to make sure my students have the best resources available to achieve all of the goals they set for themselves.
Almost every week I hear about a new gadget in technology, as the world makes new advances in technology the more we will become reliant on technology in our personal and work life. Soon the majority of careers and jobs will require a strong foundation in computer skills and related technology.
My students need an mini iPad and a kid case so they can develop the necessary skills to compete in a technology driven world.
I want my students to be prepared for any career in the digital age. I am in the process of turning my classroom into a 21st century classroom, in order to do this we need technology. My hope is to have 1:1 technology for every student. Each student has an individualized math plan that is completed online but we do not have enough technology so every student is able to do this everyday. Currently we only have 6 iPads for 39 students. We just welcomed five new students in the past month so now our goal has increased. My hope is to work our way up one iPad at a time until we have one for all my students.
