My Students
I teach at a low income school district with many different ethnicity and cultural groups represented. This school is also part of the APSRC. Almost all of the students here qualify for free or reduced price lunch. I would like to add an iPad to our classroom. This can be used during centers, as well as to follow along with PLTW science modules that we are working on. This will also help with interactive literacy and math lessons.
We love learning and would love to have technology in our classroom.
My Project
There are so many ways to make learning interactive. Having an iPad will give me the ability to do this. Reading books and attaching coding lessons, following science tutorials, and solving real world math problems are all examples of things that can be done using an iPad.
All students deserve the absolute best education we can give them.
Having an iPad will extend our learning beyond that of just paper and pencil. There are so many ways I can use the iPad to make learning hands-on for all students. I already have certain resources to use to extend student learning, I just need the iPad to have everything I need. We participate in centers, so each student will have a chance to learn with the use of this device.
