This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

It is critical for veteran teachers to have ongoing and regular opportunities to learn from each other.
Ongoing professional development keeps teachers up-to-date on new research on how children learn, emerging technology tools for the classroom, and new curriculum resources.
My Project
I would like an iPad Air with case to enable me to go online to conduct research and take professional development courses such as Engage NY, Edudemic, and iTunes U. At Engage NY there is a professional development I can watch, "Understanding the Major Work of the Grade Band". There is also a professional development from the Network Team Institute on "Turnkey Kits for K-2". Being the best teacher I can be, will only encourage my students to be all that they can be in whatever endeavor they might have.
When you give it your all, and when you work hard to be the best at your teaching job, you are telling your students that they too, should be working hard to help promote themselves.
I need to improve my technical excellence to meet the changing challenges that education faces. An iPad Air is the tool I need.
