Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are energetic, eager to learn, and fun-loving. Despite some tough situations some of my students face at home, they come in every day really giving it their all. At our school, 100% of our students receive a free breakfast and lunch. Coming from an urban district and a Title I school, unfortunately my students do not have as many supplies and opportunities as the surrounding districts.

For this reason, I work extra hard to raise money for supplies that will be used by my students. These supplies benefit my students in so many ways, and it also teaches them a deeper lesson of how good the world can be. Over the years when I have told my students that we have gotten a project funded and we were getting supplies, the looks on their faces were priceless. My students are so appreciative, and donations from kind-hearted people really impact their lives in such a major way!
My Project
As an elementary school in New England, we need to find ways to play during indoor recess time as well as outdoor recess. For that reason I am asking for some games for my students to play inside on those cold, snowy days. I am looking to get fun, multiplayer games such as UNO, Sorry, Jenga and Cooties!

I am looking to purchase games materials for my students to use during indoor recess because the busier students are, the more fun they have during recess! I would also like some cleaning wipes to keep those germs away during the cold and flu season!
