My Students

Hello! My name is Mrs. Morrison and I am a Special Education teacher. My school is located in a low income area where every student receives free breakfast and lunch.

I currently have six self-contained special education students in my classroom.

They are fun loving, bubbly kiddos with the best personalities. My students LOVE technology and we use it as a learning resource in our classroom daily.

My students struggle with math, reading, motor skills, personal care, and social skills. I have 5 fifth graders and 1 third grader who are all at different levels. We love using technology to help them learn all kinds of skills!

My Project

My students absolutely love doing educational activities on an iPad. Unfortunately, someone has stolen the classroom iPad from my room so we are in a great need for a new one.

Two of my students have very poor motor skills which keeps them from being able to use a computer.

The touch screen on the iPad makes it so each one of my students can use technology to help make learning fun! The iPad is also used as a reward for good behavior and working hard during small group activities. This is something my students would really enjoy and get use out of each and every day!
