My Students

My students come from what is considered a rural background but several of them have very limited view of the world. Many of them are raised in a small town so they have a very limited knowledge of "big city" life. There are several of them, however, also do not venture into the countryside around them. This gives them a very limited exposure to the world around them. They come from very good families to broken families that have been broken apart by drugs. Some of my students go to class during the day and work in the evening to help support their family.

My Project

Help me give my students the ability to use white boards individually instead of sharing. The boards will allow students to write out their work big and share it with others while being able to easily erase and work out another problem.

The boards will also allow for students to take their work with them.

They can take the boards outdoors to make tables and charts. They can adjust the data and information as they go as well as easily compare across an area. These boards will be used for multiple classes and subjects and will be reusable for years to come.
