Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

I am a third grade teacher at a Title I school. All of my students are hard workers but some have trouble reading independently and others do not read on a third grade level. My classroom library does not consist of enough books to allow my students to read at their independent levels. I am slowly adding books, but I am afraid that it may be a few years before I am able to have an effective library. I would like to have a library of books that will be beneficial to all of my students. This must include a listening station as well as audio books for my students that are struggling readers.
