Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Hello! My name is Mrs. Presto and I am a self-contained Autism Spectrum Disorder teacher for k-2nd grade. I am going into my 5th year teaching this grade level and subject (my 8th year overall). I truly love my job and my students. My students are amazing individuals and need materials to help them learn in unique ways.
All of my students have academic, behavioral and sensory needs.
Each one of my students has different needs and my classroom needs to meet those needs. My school is a title 1 school with all students receiving both free lunch and breakfast.
My Project
I am asking for velcro dots and lamination sheets to create adapted work binders for my students. Each file from Teacher Pay Teachers that I am requesting need over 200+ lamination sheets and 2000+ velcro dots to create 11 binders (for each file) from a creator on Teachers Pay Teachers.
Using these files and materials to make these adapted work binders give my students independence and practice on their individual goals.
These binders help my students to work on their goals and become independent learners. They help them with their academic skills and fine motor skills too. I want to increase their independence, but need the materials to create these resources.
