This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials requested foster independent practice with the basics: phonics/basic reading skills, number sense, and math fact fluency. These are the areas i’ve seen the kids behind behind in the most since COVID-19 affected their learning.

The items I requested are fun to work with, and there is no better way to learn, than by having fun!

These items will provide good, reusable practice for skills learned in class, including word/sentence building, reading comprehension, place value, and addition and subtraction fluency. These items will be used in independent learning centers.
