Our school district is small but mighty. We focus on excellence and a sense of community. Our theme for this year is "Be A Better Human." The goal is foster a feeling of respect and support for all students.
Our sixth grade class is made up of 44 students with a drive to take ownership of their learning.
The students' ability levels form a diverse range, but it does not show in the classroom. We all support and care for one another inside the classroom and out.
My Project
For many students, learning English language and grammar standards can be confusing. However, mastering these standards are essential to future student success. Interactive Notebooks are a way to make the content more accessible. In order to make them successful, we need coloring, cutting, and gluing supplies for the classroom.
The Interactive Notebooks will help students connect to the material in an engaging and memorable way.
While making Interactive Notebooks, students will be cutting, coloring, and gluing while taking notes on each skill. The information comes to life in a visual and kinesthetic way, while still being presented auditorily.
