My Students

In order to increase rigor in the classroom, I want to have children creating their own technology projects that encompass all academic areas. So much more learning takes place when the children initiate and create.

We are a cozy elementary school with a very diverse population.

We have a large amount of low income families and learned who face special challenges. Our staff is excellent and we have very high expectations for our children. It is a daily challenge to differentiate in order to meet the needs of all my students.

My Project

My students will use the iPad mini to create wonderful learning experiences. The possibilities are endless. We are trying to deviate from worksheets and level one learning and step up into level two and three where the students are challenging themselves through technology.

A donation to my project will have an amazing effect of the children in my classroom.

They automatically gravitate to technology. However, I am so excited to show them all the ways they can learn the curriculum in a project based approach that is fun, rigorous, challenging, and engaging.
