My Students

I have 95 amazing second grade students! They all have a love of learning, a million and one questions, and big ideas! They are voracious readers, who have already read through many books in my classroom library and are looking for more! Please help me get books into their hands!

All 95 of my students are Gifted and Talented, because of this they are always exploring and questioning the world around them.

It is my goal to help them grow as lifelong learners, researchers, and readers!

My Project

Students will have access to all of the books purchased immediately. They will go directly into the student library where they will have the opportunity to borrow, read, share, and enjoy them.

The books that have been selected will fill holes in my classroom library, covering the topics of American History, The Human Body, Energy, Motion, and Women in Science.

They are all high interest, full color books that will help the students discover new topics and new ideas.

With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level.
