My Students

My school is made up of a racially, economically, linguistically, and culturally diverse group of middle school students who are passionate about using technology in the classroom and eager to have teachers who integrate technology effectively into their instruction.

Although my school is historically low-performing, the administration, staff, and students are committed to changing perceptions, breaking barriers, fostering growth, and achieving our goals for all our students.

With your help, we can continue our growth by fostering a professional environment of collaboration and learning in which teachers master the technological tools and strategies needed to help our students be successful.

My Project

It is becoming increasingly important to have an IT background when working in any sort of technology position in a school.

The ITIL Foundation 4 exam is an industry-standard certification that focuses on the essentials of providing IT service and management in any environment.

This would allow me to more efficiently manage IT procurement, issues, and support in the building and would help to ensure that all teachers and students have access to the technology they need for teaching and learning. Additionally, to prepare for the exam and ensure I pass, I will use free study resources online, saving additional project costs.
