My Students

My resource classroom for math is a fun and safe environment for my hardworking, elementary students to come and further develop their math skills. We work on a variety of skills to meet each students' specific needs.

Students become increasingly motivated as they see their math skills improve!

My students work extremely hard as they work towards grade level skills. For many of my students, math can be difficult and stressful. We work hard to make math fun, engaging, and accessible for all students. It's rewarding when they take the strategies and skills they've learn, apply them in different activities, and discover that math can be fun!

My Project

The use of different seating options in my classroom is incredibly important. For a large number of my students, sitting relatively still in a chair for any length of time is incredibly difficulty. This makes it difficult to listen to instruction, make connections to material, and overall participate like other students.

This need to have movement or sensory input often becomes a distraction to them, and other students, if not provided in a reasonable way.

Flexible seating with wobble stools gives them the opportunity to considerably increase their focus and their learning.

By donating to my project, you will help my students increase their attentiveness, concentration, and learning. Wobble stools allow for discrete movement for students that have difficultly attending to instruction.
