I teach high school science at a public high school in the suburbs of Dallas/Fort Worth.
My students are are 70% economically disadvantaged and I am not able to fund everything out of pocket.
My students need these resources because it will allow them to experience in an engaging and hands on as possible manner.

My Project
I will be using Yardgard hexagonal mesh, Elmer's E7050 Carpenter's Wood,School Smart tempera paint and Kraft paper to create dinosaur statues, table cloths to drape around the room, ivy vines to create a Rain forest and paper to create dinosaur scenes. This will be used to create a simulation of a dinosaur park for us to use during our escape from Jurassic period while learning about Genetics.
Students will solve problems, complete research and collaborate to escape the dinosaurs they will encounter during their class.
This type of learning environment increases their comprehension and critical thinking, making the lessons stick with them.
