It is hard to adequately describe my students and classroom because we represent so many different things that make our school great. My students are the absolutely the best! We are a small town school with a max of twenty-four students per classroom. We are so lucky to have such a diverse body of students who make the perfect culture of our school!
Our students are polite, friendly and welcoming.
They exhibit all of the character pillars we as a school represent and are sure to show respect, responsibility and perseverance wherever they go.
My Project
Recently, we started doing literacy rotations, the students are showing great growth and success within these circles and showing great reading improvement. Each rotation has 6 students, and we only have 4 iPads. We have been using iPad apps like Epic, AR, and ABC Ya to engage students and increase student reading and learning...most of all getting reluctant readers to read. These iPads are also great tools to use for early finishers to help to challenge them in engaging activities and work through ever-changing technology. We can use them for math, literacy, science and social studies...the possibilities are endless!
