My diverse students are in school every day, eager to learn. The students at our school are from many different ethnic groups, cultures and religions.
This school seems to welcome all students with open arms.
The diversity of this school is a point of pride for staff and students. Their differences are celebrated. Many students may also be new to this country and may be learning to speak English. Any assistance with developing their language and reading abilities would benefit our school community. Unfortunately, being a public school in the school district of Philadelphia, we have had much needed funding reduced over the past years.
My Project
Everyone wants to be recognized when they are doing well. I want to reward our students for what they do in the classroom everyday. Students that are showing kindness, being a leader, respecting others and working hard in school need to be rewarded. This project will provide the incentives that students deserve. The prizes may be small but they mean a lot to a student.
These prizes will also help to create a healthy and happy classroom environment for all students.
The good behavior will spread like a wildfire. All the students will copy the good behavior so they can also be recognized for doing well.
