Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a teacher in a low-income/high-poverty school district, my students are faced with hurdles both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to provide an interactive classroom where they can explore science concepts using their talents.
My students are excited about science and love to show what they have learned through projects.
I hope to inspire the next generation of scientists by allowing them to explore and demonstrate their knowledge in their own ways.
My Project
Sometimes students need a little extra incentive to do their best. I am wanting these prizes to help reward students who are working hard and being respectful, responsible, and, ready. The different candies and stickers will be given away as prizes and the fidgets will be provided for students as a in class reward.
With the weather turning colder I am wanting to help provide my students with some warm gloves to wear.
Many students walk to school and when I have given away gloves as rewards in the past they are the first to go. The kinetic sand will be something for students to work with in class to help them focus.
