Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am the school counselor and I love my job and one of the things that makes it difficult at times is the lack of resources for many of the issues we face in our school. My staff is wonderful and do the best they can with what we have.
Our school has come up with a school-wide climate campaign to motivate and encourage students to do well.
We are targeting not only to improve school climate but behavior and other academic areas as well. Our students love to work towards rewards and achievements.
My Project
These items would make a huge difference in our school store because students love purchasing items such as pens and markers when they visit. I love keeping the school store fresh with new items and items like kinetic sand and elastic chokers appeal to the students because they are trendy items that they love. Students earn school bucks to "buy" things at the school store and these items would be a wonderful addition. With these items donated by donorschoose it will help us greatly because we are tirelessly fundraising to keep items in the store since items are always flying off the shelf!
