My Students

My students are hard-working lovers of learning. They just want to be engaged and fill connected to what they are doing everyday. It is because of them, I am constantly challenging myself to find new things to help me show them the greatness I see inside each of them.

Every day I walk through the doors of the school I make it a point to be upbeat and positive for each one of them.

For some of them, school is the only positive in their lives and yet I find myself grateful for the honor to be a part of their daily lives.

My Project

3D printing lends itself to a unique set of skills. They are using the engineering and design process to see how things can be made or made better. It is all about failing and learning from bad designs. Students are also looking at how other designs could be improved. Students love to create a prototype, see it come to life, and then be critical of its function.

These analytical skills are essential in the global economy of today.

This type of exploration is unique to 3D printing and cannot be replicated from a textbook.
