This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach an amazing group of students in a Title 1 school located in the Bronx, New York. Title one schools have large concentration of low-income students receive supplemental funds to assist in meeting students educational goals. One hundred percent of my students come from low income or no income families. Many parents are unable to provide school supplies, buy uniforms, or pay for school trips.

My Project

For this project I am requesting a Inspiron 14 7000 2-in-1 Touch-Screen Laptop.

This laptop will allow me to provide virtual lessons during remote learning, as well as in-person learning.

It is important that I have a functioning computer where I am able to deliver instruction adequately via the computer’s camera and zoom. In addition, I will use this laptop to enhance the learning of my students with the class SMART Board. The laptop will also allow me to participate in profesional development courses to make virtual teaching more successful.
