In Need Of Audio And Ebooks For Special Needs Learners
My students need books on audio so that we can listen as a class and discuss what we hear. I also need new ideas as I am going into teaching a new class this year.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The love of reading is something we try to have our children explore; but what if they don't understand what they are reading? That's where this project will come in. This project is asking for audiobooks to listen to and ebooks to help me be better prepared to help those students with special needs
Many of the students I will be working with year have individual education plans, IEP, or behavioral plans set in place for them.
Many have a time focusing on school and many have not had success in school that is important to build upon to have success in life. I want to change that. I want these students to have success. Many have a chance to be the first in their family to graduate. I truly believe with an innovative teacher that cares it will give these students a building block to build upon.
My Project
This year I am going to be teaching a new class and this project will give me that foundation I need to teach it well. I am asking for a few different items. First I am asking for the audiobooks of To Kill a Mockingbird and Lord of the Flies. With the special needs students I am working with these audiobooks would be perfect to have. I will be able to have the class listen and stop to discuss as needed for understanding. I am also asking for some LitPlan ebooks for the novels I will be teaching this year. The books I will be teaching are To Kill a Mockingbird, Lord of the Flies, And Then There Were None, A Separate Peace, The Joy Luck Club, Fahrenheit 451, Glass Menagerie, and Bless, Me Ultima. These items will definitely help me become a better teacher.
I really believe that this project will help my students learn more efficiently and help me be more prepared this year.
The audiobooks will be a great teaching tool as will the eBooks. The ebooks will really help me gain ideas to build lesson plans around to help with understand and applying what they have learned. You would really be helping out with your donations to this project.
