Our students are a mix of children with special needs and typical peers. Our goal is to meet all children where they are to help them succeed. The class consists of three-year-olds for whom this is their first preschool experience and four-year-olds that are preparing for kindergarten. Many of the children come from low-income families and do not always get the same opportunities as others. In order to provide our children with new and exciting experiences, we need quality supplies.
My Project
The students in my classroom all need visual supports to be successful. This printer will be used to print these visuals in color. The visuals will include picture schedules, communication boards, social stories, recipes, and more. Many of my students that have Individual Education Programs need visual supports made just for them. This printer will be used by my classroom and others near me as well. At the moment we have 2 color printers that are shared by close to 20 classrooms. The ink and paper will be used to restock the printer.
