My Students

I work at a quaint school in a rural community. My students come from all walks of life and I strive to give them a safe and nurturing learning environment. My county, like many in the world, is suffering from restricted funds so many classroom necessities are left to the teachers to supply. As a kindergarten teacher, I provide children with their first classroom experience and I want that to be as enriching as possible. Thank you for your help!

My Project

The projector that was in our classroom no longer works. My students are missing out on a valuable technological resource. With a new projector, we would be able to look at finer details of books, I could improve modeling and demonstrations so that all students could see. A new projector would also allow us to use our SMARTboard for classroom activities and learning games. This would open options for helpful videos with our math and reading curriculum. A new projector would aid with science instruction by allowing all students to be able to see small details no matter their seat location or abilities.
