My students are ages 3-5 in a north side neighborhood. My students are part of the Headstart supplemental program in which they receive a quality preschool education at no cost.
I love engaging my students in activities and projects that make them use a higher level of thinking.
And I love keeping them actively engaged. They are very active and like to talk and discuss a variety of topics that they are interested in.
Out of twenty students, half of them will be going to kindergarten in the fall, while the other half will be coming back next year. I would like to give them an experience in preschool that they can take with them for years to come.
My Project
Getting a color printer/scanner/ copier will help bring many projects in my classroom to life.
I like to take lots of pictures of my students during the year and it would be nice to be able to print them out in color.
This will help bring the pictures to life.
I can enhance my students' learning in many ways by being able to print pictures of animals, buildings, famous places and people to my classroom in color. There are lots of papers that I need to copy and sometimes it is difficult to get to the printer down the hall in our building. It would be nice to have a printer/copier in my classroom so I don’t need to leave the room.
