I am a 3rd grade teacher, and I have the absolute best students.
They are hard-working and love learning. I work with a very diverse population of students. I have every style of learner in my class. I strive every day to meet each and every one of their needs in hopes that they continue with their love of learning.
My Project
Learning will look different this year, but different doesn't mean bad. I am learning a new way of teaching because I want to provide the best learning I can to my students. Teachers Pay Teachers is an online marketplace for original educational resources that are developed by actual teachers. Who better to provide great activities and learning opportunities than a teacher themselves? With the gift cards for Teachers Pay Teachers, I would like to provide my students with access to digital enrichment activities that will be fun and engaging and support them in their in-home learning and social emotional learning (SEL). This year we will be entering the beginning of our school year through a digital platform and on the Teachers Pay Teachers site, teachers have turned our district adopted curriculum digital as a way to make learning accessible to all. My students will benefit from Teachers Pay Teachers by getting access to the digital curriculum that otherwise I would be providing in-person. I want to focus on my 1:1 or small group instruction rather than "re-creating the wheel" and that is how Teachers Pay Teachers can help both myself and more importantly, my students.
