My Students

My students are amazing! I teach Special Education grades Kindergarten through 4th grade. Each student is beyond unique and brings so much energy, excitement, and originality to our classroom. My students and I are a family that loves to learn in a calming, relaxing, non-intimidating atmosphere. My students love one another like brothers and sisters, and we learn to accept each other with our own unique qualities and personalities. The older kids love to help the younger kids with their activities/assignments. They gain a sense of pride from being able to help another student, and it helps strengthen the bond between them. My kids have different learning disabilities as well as some being diagnosed as other health impairments, and behavioral disorders, but in our room, we are just together as family and friends.

My Project

My students use manipulatives on a daily basis for daily schedules, token systems for behavioral plans, for math, reading, and all subjects. As of right now, we are only able to print them in black and white. I would love to be able to print them on cardstock in order for them to last longer and for them to be printed in color to make them more appealing to use. My students and I would truly appreciate any and all donations toward this project. Thank you all in advance! Thank you!!!!!
