Help me give my students with Autism personalized 'matching' binders with laminated images and velcro adhesives! This is a special request project for two families who are struggling with distance learning endeavors.
It is my pleasure to introduce my fantastic group of special education students. I hope to honor their abilities by advocating for additional resources that will further enhance them!
As an occupational therapist, I love to challenge my students and set high expectations for their growth.
Each of my students is uniquely smart, sweet, and talented! I work at a Title I public school where all students receive free breakfast, lunch, after school snack and after school supper meals. My occupational therapy caseload consists of children who have a wide range of developmental and academic needs. They range in age from 3-11 years old and come from a wonderfully diverse Washington D.C. community.
My Project
I would like to complete this project as soon as possible, at the request of two families who are struggling with distance learning. Both families have children with profound needs on the Autism Spectrum. Both are non-verbal and require extensive support for their learning.
Help me create binders to help my students who are in a bind!
I will be creating custom/individualized binders with laminated images for the children to reinforce basics (name, age, colors, numbers, animals, shapes, etc.).
