My classroom is full of students with special needs who are thrilled to learn something new each day! They have diverse backgrounds, needs, and strengths. While learning speech and language skills, my students love to gain new skills through functional and hands on activities and games.

The board games in my project will be used to improve vocabulary skills, problem solving abilities, and sentence structure. They can also be used as fun reinforcers while working on speech sounds as well. Who doesn't love learning while playing a fun game?!
The building blocks and play-doh will allow my students to build upon their vocabulary and grammar skills by creating sentences to gain the items that they want to build an item or create an item with play-doh.
