Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are from the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York City. Most of my students come from low-income families and my school is a Title I school. Many of them receive free lunches based on their socioeconomic status. They are great kids.
I am looking for outlets to help them open their own creativity and self-expression.
From the music classroom to performances, to trips, I want to help them find their own voices and help them create a better future!
My Project
I'm looking to give the sound in my music room a boost! Because music is all about sound, these items will be very important for my students. It's something that will greatly help with their musical learning. The amp will help when connected to our SmartBoard and can be used in performances. The personal amp will help students hear me while playing instruments. The cords will help our upper grade students while using music technology. These items will help allow students to clearly and beautifully hear lots of different styles of music to help them on their musical journey.
