My students need large recycle bins, a sturdy cart, and a convertable hand truck to recycle more efficently!

Established in 1979, our school provides educational and support services for children with hearing or vision loss in the MCP School System. Some of the students have additional challenges that magnify the impact of the vision or hearing loss. Each of the students has special needs and requires extensive technology and assistance to succeed in a school setting.
Students attend classes at one of three locations: the elementary, middle, or high school campus.
In addition, itinerant services are provided throughout our county for students whose disability is not severe enough to require full-time placement at one of the campuses. Services are also provided in several area counties.
We currently have a small recycling program at our school. However, the recycle bins are tiny and quickly overflow! We strive to teach recycling and the importance it has on preserving our Earth!
We are requesting large recycling bins that will be placed at the ends of our hallways.
Currently we have small bins in each classroom, but they quickly overflow! The large bins will ensure that the students continue to strive to recycle throughout the week.
The flat cart and convertable dolly will be used by our fifth grade recycling team to take the large and small bins to our recycling dumpster outside. The convertable dolly will ensure the students are safely transporting either the large bins (using the dolly upwright) or multiple small recyle bins (converting it into a small rolling cart). The flat cart will also be used to take out the small bins while the dolly is taking the large bins outside.
Our teachers strive to teach the importance of recylcing. We implemented this program two years ago, and it has become a staple throughout the school. The students are eager to be on the recycling team that picks up the small blue recycling bins every Friday morning!
