My curious 3rd graders have a passion for learning! Many of them come from different home situations but come together with their desire and passion for learning. A typical day in my classroom of 28 third graders is busy, full of movement, and group collaboration.
The requested materials will increase the flexibility with furniture, increase engagement throughout the day, and provide needed materials for a successful school year and beyond!
My students have come up with unique and wonderful ways to improve our classroom. Many of them are excited about reading new books, others would like alternative seating, while others are looking forward to classroom technology.
My Project
Wow! A gift of $5000 is overwhelming and exciting! I chose standing desks, flexible seating, and a classroom rug to start. I can't wait to see how the kids' learning will be impacted by these items. I also purchased sturdy headphones and a QBall which is a toss-able microphone to increase student engagement.
When kids are organized, they are more successful!
I chose many items that will help my students find what they are needing in a jiffy. Speaking of organization, I can't wait to receive and use the bookshelves and books that my students requested!
