My Students

Can you imagine going to a meeting or taking a class where everyone speaks the same language except you?

I work with ELL students in grades K - 5.

Their English speaking, listening, reading and writing levels range from "entering" to proficient. We have some students that do not speak a word of English and we have other students that simply need a little extra support. They are wonderful students and it is such a reward to see them flourish!

My Project

My hope is that the whisper phones will increase the students overall reading and speaking abilities. With our students that are more proficient, the whisper phones will allow students to read more fluently and listen to their writing to help them self-correct anything that "doesn't sound quite right". And who doesn't love magnetic letters? The possibilities are endless and can be used with all students in grades K - 5.

I am so excited to have the opportunity to share these resources with the students.

I honestly believe this will help the students with their speaking, reading, writing and listening. The magnetic letters will allow students to have a hand-on opportunity to show what they know!
