Help me give my students access to an abundance of educational resources, such as reading activities, math games, practice worksheets, and guided reading books from Teachers Pay Teachers.
Due to Covid-19, my students have adapted to remote learning since March this year. This being said, as in-schooling ended abruptly, I was only able to grab a few materials/resources to bring back home with me, to help me continue providing instruction to my students.
My students are currently learning with what I have at home and they definitely need more resources to help them stay engaged in remote learning.
I have a working lap top and access with e-books and online platform technology to provide instruction to my students, but I would like access to provide skills & strategy small group support, guided reading groups, project based learning activities, practice activities/games/worksheets for my students during this time.
My Project
I'm already thinking about a post-Coronavirus world where our kids are back in school with a possibility of blended learning, where some days will be in school and some days remote learning at home. This could potentially be our new norm, therefore as an educator I need to be well equipped to provide the best teaching and instruction possible.
In order for me to expand my teaching abilities, I will need access to more resources through the teacher-created online teaching community.
These resources will allow me to improve a variety of teaching models within my practice such as skills and strategy small group work in reading and phonics. I will be able to provide differentiated and scaffolded writing activities for my students. I will be able to infuse fun and excitement by including math games/activities for students to play with their peers and family members.
