Help me give my students a classroom friendly option for a microphone. This microphone is able to be thrown around the room because it’s inside of foam ball. This will be helpful during whole class discussions.
In our school district, mathematical discussions and other classroom discourse have been a huge focus. As students are able to explain their thinking to their peers their memory of tough subjects is solidified. My project is simply one item, a student-friendly microphone that is built inside of a foam ball. I had the opportunity to try out another teacher this year and it really improved classroom engagement and discussion. Unfortunately, that teacher is leaving our school and taking their awesome technology with them. I think it’s time that my students had this device to improve and empower their critical thinking skills.
