Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Each kid is great and love to be on the computer and learn different things, but some are having a little trouble on learning to type while not looking at the keyboard.
Kids come from all different kinds of backgrounds.
some who are hard at learning because they have never been told no. some who are willing to learn and take it slow like I am trying to have them do right now, but just don't have what it takes right now. Each kid is special to me and I want them to be better at communicating though typing instead of just writing.
My Project
If I were to get the keyboard skins it would help them work on their typing skills, and get better at it without having to look down at the keyboard. Computers and typing are becoming a big part of our world today so each kid needs to know how this is done to be prepared.
I have trouble with some kids, and keeping their eyes on the screen.
This would help me know that they have their eyes where they need to be.
I want these kids to have something where it will make them be better, and by getting the keyboard skins it would be a great way for them to improve.
I also could use a laptop Chromebook to sit down with student individually. I would use this with students who are a little behind in their typing skills. This would also help me with a program that we will use later in the year called Think Though Math.
