Imperative: Books Needed for Remote Learners' In-Home Libraries!
Help me give my students wonderful books to add to their collections at home; they are missing opportunities to visit their school libraries and local libraries because of Covid19.
Wonderful. Bright. Hopeful. Courageous. Energetic. Compassionate. Learners. Readers. All these words describe my great students who are learning remotely from home. These beautiful learners and readers need your help adding books to their "home libraries" that many of you have helped build during this Covid19 school year.
My Project
As you know, books are often very expensive, and many of my students do not have the money to spend on them as they would love to do. In the wake of Covid19, my wonderful students are learning remotely from home. Because of this, these brilliant children are unable to frequent their school libraries and local libraries to check out books for free. Even though reading via online library is an option, most of the students simply do not always have internet access for reading online.
These fabulous girls and boys desperately need you to help add more books to their personal libraries at home that you have graciously helped create in the past.
You have previously given generously to provide multiple titles the children have dearly loved. I have immensely enjoyed hearing the comments such as, "My grandmother and I are reading this one together" and "My favorite part of the package is the books".
Please help the students again. You remain heroes for caring about the students, not only as learners, but as valued young people in this great big world that is filled with much stress for them during this unpredictable time of the pandemic. Being surrounded by books is one way to alleviate some of the stress and strife of the uncertainty in their lives at this time.
