My Students

My students love to do lessons on computers. They are excited about learning hands on science and they are very creative. They live learning and we do a lot of creative activities involving music, theater, and STEM. The classroom has four computers and they are always asking to use thei computer to write essays, solve engineering problems and they want to learn coding. I also want to turn in my room into a STEM classroom. They love science so much!

My Project

The Kindle provides many educational apps and games that will spark a love for learning through technology.

Using the Kindle Fire, my students will have access to materials that will help them better understand engineering , math and science.

The kindle fires will support the STEM curriculum am an trying to intergrate into my lessons.

My school is located in a rural, low income area and many of my students do not have any technology at home. School is the only place some of my students have the opportunity to engage in activities that involve technology.

Having Kindle Fire tablets will allow my students to access the world around while playing educational games and activities, reading books, and researching areas that interest them. Please light the fire of learning for my student!
