My Students

My students are bright, creative, and love life! Being a Leader in Me school, my students are growing into amazing leaders in our classroom, school, and community. They share their talents and find ways to help others. Our class partners with several classrooms including a 1st grade and a life skills class. To watch these awesome students be so kind and gentle with our more fragile students is truly an inspiration.

Facing the challenges of Covid-19, my students are willing to do whatever it takes to be at school.

Wearing masks or sanitizing from head to toe, they just want to be around their peers and learning everyday.

My Project

The supplies that have been requested will be used to allow students to get back to using their hands for learning. Using their hands to build shapes, volume, or just practicing multiplication facts. One of challenges through Covid-19 has been an increase of computer time and less peer interactions. These items will create a variety of team building experiences for students to do together while learning important math concepts.

I want my students to have more hands-on learning that will help to increase math concepts, provide positive social interactions with peers, and create a deeper understanding of critical math concepts.
