Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have 23 active and curious little minds in Weston, Florida. All of my students have one thing in common--they want to learn while having fun. I enjoy opening the door to my classroom each day and seeing their smiling faces.
My school's motto, "Imagination to Innovation," has our students excited and motivated to learn.
They come to school each day ready to move around the room and work at different centers. On any given day you will see children in all corners of the classroom working on many different projects.
My Project
The puppet theater, puppets, and puppet stand for creative play and books for our listening center I am requesting will help foster creativity, encourage role playing, and will set the stage for the children to learn in a fun and safe environment. The children will also learn important social skills necessary to be successful in school, such as sharing and communication.

These materials will promote creativity, friendship, and social growth while improving language and communication skills.
