My students need activities that help foster their imagination throughout the day. We need sensory table materials, dramatic play materials, and hands on literacy activities to enrich our morning tubs.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The children I work with are very active and are constantly investigating the world around them. My students are mainly Spanish-speaking, so finding ways for them to learn through exploration has become my main goal this school year. Our school is located in Oklahoma in a high poverty area. I work with an amazing group of teachers who have a passion for helping this community.
I want my Pre-K students to come home from school every day, proud of what they have learned and eager to share with their families.
I am the proud teacher of 20 rowdy four and five-years-old children.
My Project

I am asking for materials that will help facilitate my young inquiring students as well as build imagination and fine motor skills.
My student will be able to use the dinosaur and other animal figurines along with the sand and sensory beads in our sensory box to create vast landscapes with their imagination. Students will also use the letters to try and build words and find letters that they know throughout their centers. They will be able to use the different career kits in our dramatic play center to act like the adults in their life. The alphabots will go in the block center for them to be exposed to letters along with building creations.
