My Project

My life skills students could benefit from engaging in activities that will include social skills, and social-emotional learning as well as guiding them towards a more positive school experience with the use of enriching and developmental learning tasks.

Having a play kitchen set would help children develop creativity & role-play skills, physical and motor development, language, and social skills, as well as critical thinking skills.

Dress-up clothes and props such as Doctor and Nurse Dress Up Costume Sets will let children's imaginations run wild. Dressing up helps children to begin to make sense of the adult world, roles, and interests, as well as boosting social interaction. Not least, dressing up helps to reinforce the self-care aspects of self-dressing which is essential for primary school life.

Playing with blocks, puzzles, and shape sorters all lay the foundations of spatial thinking, logical reasoning, ordering, and recognizing various shapes, sizes, and colors.
