This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Seeing my students learn is the thing that makes me the happiest. I love to be able to give them all the information that they need in order to understand and appreciate the world that they live in.

My students are curious individuals.

They see things in different ways and that helps us all to become more open-minded. I love how they are inquisitive and are always searching to learn more. They are future global thinkers ready to take on the world.

My Project

My students love to read. I am trying to encourage them to read chapter books that will help them to further their reading skills. It is encouraging to see children take a book and get lost in their own little worlds.

Reading and chocolate go hand in hand.

Hopefully, these Chocolate Fever chapter books will enhance this theory for my students. I love this book and I know my students will too. It is entertaining and hits upon a lot of reading comprehension skills they need to know. The Geronimo Stilton Book series is another fun adventure my students can take in the classroom. They will be able to discover the main idea of each chapter, make inferences and compare and contrast the story to their lives. I can't wait for them to start reading.
