This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are smart cookies! They enjoy learning so much I am amazed at how they are becoming thoughtful, intelligent, caring citizens of our school. Their love and support show in their work, activities, and when helping a friend in need.

My Project

Imagine yourself being four again. Someone has just taken your toy. What will you do? WAHHHHHHH! Cry! AHHHHHHH! Scream! Maybe even throw yourself down on the floor. Why? Because you are four and not sure how to handle your emotions.

Help, I'm angry/sad/glad/scared and I don't know what to do!

Piggie and Gerald books by Mo Willems are excellent books to show students how they can behave in situations new to them. The books keep their attention. In addition, the Yacker Tracker will also help maintain volume in the room.
