Help me give my students the gift of learning by having our very own whiteboard in the classroom. We currently do not have a whiteboard and this is a wonderful visual tool to enhance learning.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach eight Autistic Support/Life Skills students in grades 7-12. We are a low income school district with all students receiving free lunches. Our classroom is a safe and fun place to learn new skills that will take us into our future.
Every student in this class has an individual and unique set of abilities that far outweigh their disabilities.
We are focusing on learning life skills so that we can live as independently as possible. Thank you for taking the time to look at our project.
My Project
A whiteboard will allow our students the ability to use a visual tool for learning. So many of my special needs students learn better when presented with a visual picture of what we are learning.
Our Autistic support students are some of the most wonderful, children who deserve to have the supplies they need to meet their educational needs.
This whiteboard will be used daily in the classroom for our lessons in spelling, math, reading, writing, and functional life skills. This is a very important tool in their learning of information that they will need to be independent in the future.
