Help me give my students dramatic play props to make learning more real life. The addition of the kitchen table and chairs, the nursery and the laundry center will really enhance my preschoolers imaginary play!
I am the preschool teacher for RES. Our town is a small rural farming community. I attended this school as a student all through school. All of our children are special to me as this town is near to my heart. I teach a morning and afternoon class. Each class has children ranging in all sorts of abilities and interests.
Preschool is crucial because it is a child's initial exposure to school and sets the tone for the rest of their educational career.
My students are all full of curiosity and energy to learn. We love to learn hands-on, get messy, create, play and sing together.
My Project
This project focuses on the dramatic play center of my preschool. By adding the kitchen table and chairs, the nursery, and the laundry center our dramatic play area will make playing more real life and imaginations will soar. The preschoolers can pretend to be bathing their babies along with dressing them and putting them to sleep in the crib. They can learn how to set the table for dinner with the kitchen table and chairs and lastly they can learn the importance of cleaning up their house with the laundry center with a broom, mop, ironing board and washing machine. All of these skills are needed to be fully functioning adults and one day these children will be using these very skills with families of their own.

Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated to this project because it will be furthering the early education of all my preschoolers. Preschoolers learn best through play and experiences. This project will assist me in keeping our preschool worksheet free and to keep learning hands on, messy, creative and fun for these early learners.
