We are an urban middle school with a large percentage of free and reduced lunch students. We are a small school with a dedicated staff that has lifted our school up from being one under restructuring, to one that made high growth!

We have five LCD projectors in the library, but all the bulbs are burnt out. I have a Smart Board in my room, but do not have a projector. I need a projector bulb so I can turn on the minds of my young students.

90% of our students don't have a computer at home and their only exposure to computers is at school. Half of our 8th grade students last year failed the computer test. By using the Smart Board in the classroom and constantly and consistently reviewing terminology the student's computer scores will increase and they will be more motivated learners.

Without your help, my students will continue to struggle with the computer test and will have to retake it in high school. Their learning will be limited to traditional textbooks and paper and pencil teaching. Your help will make a difference in the lives of many children.
